Gospel Spreading like Wildfire — Help Us Keep it Legal

Oct 21, 2026

The Gospel is spreading like wildfire across the earth
Liberty Counsel is working to make it possible

On September 21, 2025, a new world record was set: the largest group of people in history heard the Gospel preached simultaneously.

In the months since, the Word of God has been spreading like wildfire across the globe, with hashtags like “Jesus,” “Bible,” “Christianity,” and “ChristianFaith” consistently trending on social media. And a growing number of people are taking that faith to the streets.

But the forces of darkness are trying to silence this outpouring of the Great Commission, which is why your support of Liberty Counsel is so incredibly important at this exact moment in time.

Help us defend the Gospel by supporting our legal fund today.

On September 21, 2025, 100 million people tuned in to watch the Gospel preached at Charlie Kirk’s memorial service, making it the largest group of people to ever hear the Good News preached simultaneously.

Before and since that time, Christianity has been trending on social media, with billions of views every month, a huge crop of evangelists are hitting the pavement, and revival is breaking out on college campuses.

  • Appalachian State University (October 2026): Over 700 students made public commitments to faith and about 100 were baptized.
  • University of Tennessee (October 2025): Around 8,000 students gathered with more than 500 salvations and hundreds of baptisms.
  • University of Kentucky (February 2025): About 8,000 students gathered, leading to over 2,000 decisions for Christ and 1.5 hours of continuous baptisms.
  • Ohio State University (February 2025): Nearly 2,000 students responded to the Gospel, with many baptized in the backs of U-Haul trucks despite freezing temperatures.
  • Florida State University (February 2024) & University of Georgia (April 2024): Thousands of students gathered for worship rallies, leading to hundreds of baptisms in Florida State’s Westcott Fountain, campus ponds, or pickup truck beds.
  • Auburn University (September 2023 —Ongoing): The movement’s starting point was at Neville Arena and a nearby lake, where about 350 to 500 students were initially baptized in a spontaneous gathering.

While there is resistance, Liberty Counsel is defending freedom to worship.

Your support allows Liberty Counsel to fight for our right to spread the Gospel. Help Liberty Counsel defend the Great Commission.

Not your grandaddy’s preachers

A new wave of evangelists has taken to the airwaves.

  • Elevation Church in North Carolina has 28 million social media followers.
  • The “Bible in a Year” podcast has reached 1 billion downloads, with 500,000 daily listeners.
  • “The Bible Recap” with Tara-Leigh Cobble podcast has reached half a billion downloads.
  • Pastor Josh Howerton of Lakepointe Church in Texas, who has 8 million social media followers, is Apple’s No. 1 Religion & Spirituality podcaster.
  • Our client, Andrew Wommack Ministries, has 2.4 million followers.

But one of the fastest-growing segments is the individuals taking to social media to tell their redemption stories. Millions upon millions of former addicts, witches, satanic priests, and people who have left the LGBTQ — all giving their testimony on social media, sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ and bringing an army of lost souls back to the Lord.

The digital increase is fueling “in person” evangelism as well — and Liberty Counsel is defending an ever-increasing number of preachers and evangelistic groups against attacks by secular government authorities trying to stop the spread of the Gospel.

Right now, Liberty Counsel is defending pastors fired from their part-time government jobs because of the mere fact that they are pastors. We are defending realtors who had their real estate licenses stripped because they are also pastors. We are defending street preachers unlawfully ticketed and arrested for exercising their right to publicly preach the Gospel. We are defending families whose children refuse to leave their faith outside the schoolhouse door, and even a mother who refuses to allow a state court to forbid her daughter from hearing the Word of God.

Without Liberty Counsel to defend religious freedom, the enemy would have already censored the Good News of Jesus Christ from the internet and the streets.

Matthew 24:14 tells us: "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come."

No one knows the day or the hour our Savior will return. But what I do know is that it is every believer’s job to ensure as many people as possible hear the Word of God.

ONLY YOUR direct financial support makes that Great Commission task possible. We don’t charge our clients, because churches, pastors, and street preachers simply could not afford to defend their First Amendment rights against local governments gone mad. Instead, our clients rely on YOU, the faithful Liberty Counsel supporter.

Please make a generous gift to our legal fund today and a special Challenge Grant will DOUBLE the impact of your donation.

Thank you for helping us keep the Gospel alive by funding the fight for religious freedom and speech.

"He said to them, 'Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation'" (Mark 16:15).
