On February 12, youth around the world will celebrate the seventh annual Day of Purity. The Day of Purity, a project of Liberty Counsel, is a call for youth of all ages to remain sexually pure until marriage and is designed to counter the cultural message that young people should and must have sex early, often, and with many.

Although national advocacy organizations, such as Planned Parenthood, encourage youth to explore their sexuality at an early age and then to terminate any unintended pregnancies, we encourage youth to respect themselves and their friends. The Day of Purity presents an opportunity for millions of youth to stand up for self-respect and purity because most youth reject Planned Parenthood’s promiscuous sexual “free-for-all” message.

We’ve received thousands of e-mails from students around the world who want to make a public commitment for sexual purity and who want to share that choice with their friends. You can order a LivePure wristband and a Day of Purity T-shirt along with other valuable resources that allow the youth of our nation opportunities to stand against cultural expectations shoved on them through the media.
