Late Monday, Liberty Counsel filed an Anti-SLAPP (Strategic Lawsuit against Public Participation) motion to dismiss the lawsuit of Two Rivers Public Charter School against our client, veteran pro-life advocate Larry Cirignano.

Two Rivers sued Cirignano and others for demonstrating against the construction of a Planned Parenthood facility between the school’s elementary and middle school buildings in Washington, D.C. The school claimed Cirignano’s presentation of the truth about Planned Parenthood’s activities caused “emotional distress” and was a “nuisance” to the school.

This is another case where the wrong people are the target. Instead of looking at the pain and death that will be perpetrated by Planned Parenthood right in the midst of its own school buildings, the school is trying to silence the courageous advocates trying to protect children and women.
