Liberty Counsel Attorney Harry Mihet and clients, Frank Lay and Robert Freeman, appeared today on America’s No. 1 morning show, FOX & Friends.
We told you about an outrageous case where school employees in Santa Rosa County, Florida are facing criminal prosecution because of a prayer.
Pace High School Principal Frank Lay and Athletic Director Robert Freeman are both facing criminal contempt charges for a prayer offered at a an appreciation luncheon with former booster club members and other adults who helped with a field house project. The ACLU complained to a federal judge that the prayer violated a court order.
Trial is scheduled for September 17. If convicted, Mr. Lay and Mr. Freeman are subject to fines and imprisonment, yet neither willfully violated any orders of the court.
Co-Hosts of FOX & Friends include Steve Doocy, Gretchen Carlson, and Brian Kilmeade.
