Major General Dees served in in a wide variety of command and staff positions, including serving as Commander of the US-Israeli Combined Task Force for Missile Defense. Retiring in 2003, Dees served in business, nonprofit leadership, and now as Director, Institute for Military Resilience, Liberty University. He finished the Resilience Trilogy in 2014 with the publication of Resilient Nations.
