Dec 20, 2012
Over the last 12 months, Liberty Counsel has scored many victories advancing life, liberty, and family.
This year, Liberty Counsel won battles in Florida and Virginia to keep the Ten Commandments in public places. We defended students’ rights to pray at the annual “See You At The Pole” event and to form Christian, after-school programs. Liberty Counsel won a case for a husband and wife who were fired for displaying a Scripture verse in a picture on the wall. We educated and empowered pastors and Christian leaders across America to stand for the founding principles of America and religious freedom.
We dealt a major blow to Attorney General Eric Holder and the Department of Justice (DOJ), resulting in the DOJ having to pay $120,000 for wrongfully suing a pro-life woman in Florida.
Liberty Counsel is a frugal, yet effective, ministry. We resolve approximately ninety-five percent of our cases without going to court. And, when we go to court, we win!
