Liberty University School of Law welcomed the TeenPact Judicial Program for the third consecutive year. TeenPact Judicial is an intense, weeklong program, which instructs highly motivated and intelligent teenage students interested in the study of law.
Liberty Counsel attorneys partner with Liberty University School of Law professors and teach the program through a variety of interactive activities and courses, which include Foundations of Law, Property, Contracts, Constitutional Law, Oral Advocacy, and more. This year students had the chance to learn about the intricacies of legal writing. Near the end of the week, students competed in a moot court competition, where they argued a case before a panel of judges in the law school’s Supreme Courtroom.
It is the vision of Liberty Counsel to train a new generation of leaders in the rule of law from a Christian perspective to use law as a fulcrum for good. Mathew Staver, Founder of Liberty Counsel and Dean of Liberty University School of Law, commented: “The students who are trained at TeenPact are energetic, bright, and eager to become world changers.” Staver concluded, “Being around these young leaders is exhilarating.”
