Mat Staver, Founder and Chairman of Liberty Counsel, was presented with the “Defender of Liberty” award at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention by Richard Bott Sr. and Rich Bott, the Founder and President/CEO respectively of Bott Radio Network. Bott Radio Network was founded in 1962 and now has 93 radio stations. The award recognized Staver for his faithful and effective work in defending religious liberty, the sanctity of human life, and the family.
