Erik Estrada is fighting religious hostility in the public school in his new role as Marc Garcia in the feature film Uncommon. In its second week of filming in Lynchburg, Virginia, Uncommon brings together the talents of Ben Davies of Courageous, Irma Hall of Ladykillers, Erik Estrada, and a host of talented young people.

Students at Rosewood High School face religious bigotry when organizing a Bible club and producing a faith-based drama. Confronted by the ACLU and rejected by the school board, the students’ fortunes change when Liberty Counsel files an injunction against the school board’s discriminatory ruling.

Over half of the calls Liberty Counsel receives are from parents and students facing the secularists in the public school system. While the film will certainly entertain, it will even more educate and inspire young people to live life with conviction and purpose.
