Pastor Rick Scarborough will awaken the church to the cultural battle and arm Christians with the weapons they need to win at The Awakening 2012.  Pastor Scarborough founded Vision America with the goal of empowering pastors to lead their congregations to become salt and light in the nation and to restore Judeo-Christian values in America.  Dr. Scarborough’s work has been featured in numerous publications, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, USA Today, and the cover of TIME Magazine.  Scarborough will be joining a panel entitled “Pastors, Churches and Political Activity: Re-energizing the Pulpit.” He was quoted on Christiane Amanpour’s documentary series, "God's Christian Warriors" on CNN as saying, “I'm not a Democrat, I'm not a Republican. I'm a Christocrat.”
