Nov 6, 2006
On Wednesday morning, November 8, 2006, the United States Supreme Court will hear oral argument regarding the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act of 2003. Liberty Counsel filed amicus briefs in both cases with the Court on behalf of the Association of Pro-Life Physicians and Illinois nurse Jill Stanek, in favor of the Act.
We predict that the Court will uphold the federal partial-birth abortion ban. Pray that it does. This case underscores the reason we need the right judges in office. Read more about this important case in our press release.
One More Day Until Votes On Life And Marriage
With so much at stake on election day, pastors and churches have been making a final push to get out the vote. On November 7th, eight states will vote on marriage amendments, including Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Virginia and Wisconsin. California and Oregon voters will vote on a ballot measure to require parental notice before a minor can obtain an abortion. South Dakota voters will also vote on whether to ban abortions in that state. Now is the time for people who believe in traditional values to stand up, vote and make a difference in their communities. Remind your friends and family to get out tomorrow and vote. The future of our children and grandchilden is at stake.
